Scope

This standard specifies the determination methods for ignition loss (or ignition increase), silicon dioxide, ferric oxide, sodium oxide, chromium oxide and aluminum oxide in white corundum and chrome corundum. This standard is applicable to the determination of chemical composition in white corundum and chrome corundum. The arbitration analysis must be carried out according to the method stipulated in this standard.
