Scope
This standard specifies the determination methods for ignition loss (or ignition gain), silicon dioxide, ferric oxide, potassium oxide, sodium oxide, chromium oxide and aluminum oxide in white corundum, chrome corundum abrasives and crystal blocks. This standard applies to the determination of the chemical composition of white corundum, chrome corundum abrasives and crystal blocks, and does not apply to products whose composition changes after use.
