《GB/T 30494-2014船舶和海上技术 船用风向风速仪》由TC531（全国船舶电气及电子设备标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准规定了船用风向标和风速仪(以下称风向/风速仪)的类型、结构、功能、性能和试验方法。
本标准适用于安装在经修正的1974年《国际海上人命安全公约(SOLAS)》第Ⅴ章第5条所推荐的船舶上,用于测量和指示其在海上航行时的风向和风速的仪器设备。
本标准不适用于气象学或科学测量及观察目的的风向标和风速仪。

Scope

This standard specifies the type, structure, function, performance and test methods of marine wind vanes and anemometers (hereinafter referred to as wind direction/anemometers). This standard is applicable to the instruments and equipment installed on ships recommended in Article 5, Chapter V, of the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), as amended, for measuring and indicating the wind direction and speed when navigating at sea . This Standard does not apply to wind vanes and anemometers for meteorological or scientific measurement and observation purposes.
