《GB/T 3138-2015金属及其他无机覆盖层 表面处理 术语》由TC57（全国金属与非金属覆盖层标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国机械工业联合会。
本标准提供了表面处理的一般类型及与此有关的术语和定义。本标准注重金属加工领域中表面处理技术的实际应用。本标准不包括搪瓷和釉瓷、热喷涂、热浸镀锌的术语和定义,这些术语和定义已收录于专业词汇表或正在制定的相关词汇表中。大多数情况下,本标准不包括在表面处理和其他技术领域有相同含义的基本术语,也不包括化学、物理手册和词典中定义的基础术语。

Scope

This standard provides general types of surface preparation and terms and definitions related thereto. This standard focuses on the practical application of surface treatment technology in the field of metal processing. This standard does not include the terms and definitions of enamel and glazed porcelain, thermal spraying, and hot-dip galvanizing. These terms and definitions have been included in the professional glossary or in the related glossary under development. For the most part, this standard does not cover basic terms that have the same meaning in surface treatment and other technical fields, nor do they cover basic terms defined in chemical and physical handbooks and dictionaries.
