Interpretation of chemical composition and mechanical properties
According to the standard, the chemical composition of hot-rolled steel plates and strips for mining rescue capsules must meet the requirements of Table 1. For example, the carbon content of Q460JSC grade does not exceed 0.12%, and the silicon content does not exceed 0.50%. These strict technical indicators ensure the performance of the material in terms of high strength and durability.

Taking Q600JSC grade as an example, its tensile strength can reach 690~860 MPa, which is suitable for rescue capsule structures with high safety requirements. Combined with the room temperature mechanical properties data in Table 2, the material can still maintain high strength characteristics at 16% elongation after fracture.
