Scope

This part of GB/T 32076 specifies the technical requirements and test methods for the preloaded high-strength bolted connection pair (hereinafter referred to as the bolted connection pair) to ensure the preload adaptability of the bolted connection pair in metal structures. The preload adaptability test specifies the method for checking the characteristics of bolted joints to ensure that the required preload and sufficient safety factor are achieved according to the relevant specified tightening methods to prevent overtightening or fracture. This part applies to industrial and civil building bridges, tower inspection structures, boiler steel structures, hoisting machinery and other high-strength bolt connections for preloaded steel structures.
