Introduction

Technical Evolution and Background of Standards

This standard replaces the type evaluation test part in GB/T 3241-2010. The main technical changes include:

Analysis of Core Test Requirements

1. Relative Attenuation Test

Requires completion with a signal generator:

  • Test frequency range: lowest center frequency × 0.5 ~ highest center frequency × 1.5
  • Sampling density: ≥ 24 test points per bandwidth
  • Acceptance limit: ≤ 0.3dB for level 1 filter, ≤ 0.5dB for level 2

2. Effective Bandwidth Calculation

Use trapezoidal integration method:

Be = ∑[2/(Ωii+1)] × 0.5[10-0.1ΔA(Ωi) + 10-0.1ΔA(Ωi+1)] × (Ωi+1i)

  1. Select three characteristic frequencies of 6.3Hz, 1kHz, and 20kHz.
  2. Use the APx525 audio analyzer to complete the relative attenuation test.
  3. Perform a 30s exponential frequency sweep to verify time invariance according to Appendix B.
  4. EMC testing must include cable coupling conditions.

Note: If the measurement uncertainty exceeds the maximum allowable value (0.15dB for level 1, 0.25dB for level 2), the system needs to be recalibrated.
