Scope

This standard specifies the method for the quantitative determination of corrosive sulfur (dibenzyl disulfide) in insulating oil. This standard applies to the determination of the content of corrosive sulfur (dibenzyl disulfide) in unused and in-service insulating oils, with a concentration range of 5 mg/kg to 600 mg/kg.
