Technological evolution and standard background
This standard is formulated based on GB 4793.1-2007 and GB/T 32710.1-2016, and adds 12 special requirements for the high temperature (up to 550℃) and molten salt corrosion risks unique to salt tanks:
- New safety management specifications for molten salt heat transfer media
- Strengthen the mechanical and electrical interlocking of the stirring device and the heating system
- Clarify the high temperature resistance identification requirements (IP code) of the overflow/drain port
Key safety design points
Typical application case: Anti-leakage design of high-temperature salt tank
A certain model of salt tank adopts triple protection:
- 304 stainless steel tank + ceramic fiber insulation layer
- Double PTFE sealing ring swivel joint (temperature resistance 260℃)
- Overflow pipe and refractory container are hard-connected (spacing ≥300mm)
Implementation suggestions
Enterprise response measures:
- Establish a standardized operating procedure for molten salt filling/replacement
- Check the insulation resistance of the heater every month (≥1MΩ)
- Equip operators with high-temperature resistant protective suits (masks + gloves)
