Introduction

1. Background and significance of the standard

Eye-splitting Cole (scientific name: Coleogramma_temminckii) is an important economic fish species, widely distributed in the Yangtze River and offshore areas. With the increase in natural fishing pressure and changes in the aquatic environment, its resources are facing severe challenges.

This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China and is managed by the National Technical Committee for Aquatic Products Standardization. It aims to standardize the artificial breeding technology process of eye-splitting Cole to ensure the quality of seedlings and the sustainable development of the industry.


2. Key technologies for broodstock breeding

Broodstock cultivation conditions

  • Pond depth: 2.0m~2.5m, area 500m²~1000m²
  • Water quality requirements: Meet NY5361 (fresh water) or NY5362 (seawater) standards
  • Salinity control: Gradually increase to 2%, maintain for 2 months and then slowly decrease to 0
  • Water flow control: Maintain a flow rate of 0.6m/s~1m/s for 20 days before induction of spawning

  • Post-embryonic management: 5 hours after hatching, transfer to another hatching tank, and control the density at 1000~1500 grains/L

  • Fry pond: 1.2m~1.5m deep, 400m²~800m² area
