GB/T 33075-2016 "Determination of directness of reactive dyes" is a national standard of the People's Republic of China, which is used to regulate the determination method of directness of KN and M reactive dyes. This standard is managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Dyes and is applicable to directness evaluation in the field of dye production and application.

3. Practical application cases
Take a certain KN type dye as an example, the dyeing depth on cotton yarn is 1% (owf), the bath ratio is 1:20, the temperature is 60℃, and the dyeing time is 30 minutes. The absorbance values of the standard dye solution and the dyeing residual solution measured by a spectrophotometer are A1=0.5 and A2=0.4 respectively, and the dilution multiples n1=2 and n2=3. Calculate directness S:
S = 1 - (A2/n2) / (A1/n1) × 100% = 1 - (0.4/3)/(0.5/2) × 100% ≈ 60%4. Implementation Suggestions
