1. Background of the Standard

As an important auxiliary agent in the textile, washing and papermaking industries, the quality control of fluorescent brighteners is of vital importance. Phosphorus content is an important indicator to measure its performance and safety. The formulation of this standard aims to unify the test methods and ensure the accuracy and comparability of data.

3. Analysis of technology evolution

This standard combines traditional wet digestion with modern microwave digestion technology, reflecting the innovative development of detection methods. 4. Implementation suggestions

4.1 Method selection

  • Samples with low phosphorus content:The phosphomolybdenum blue method is recommended because of its high sensitivity and simple operation.
  • Samples with high phosphorus content:The phosphomolybdenum yellow method is preferred, which is suitable for the detection of phosphorus content above 500 mg/kg.
  • Batch sample processing: It is recommended to use microwave digestion technology to improve efficiency.

4.2 Personnel training

Operators should receive systematic training, focusing on the correct use of instruments and equipment and the preparation of standard solutions. It is recommended to conduct internal quality control drills regularly to ensure data reliability.

4.3 Quality control

  • Blank test: A blank test should be performed simultaneously on each batch of samples to evaluate the accuracy of the experiment.
  • Repeatability test: The difference between two parallel measurement results should be ≤2 mg/kg or not more than 10% of the average value.
  • Instrument calibration: Regularly calibrate the wavelength of the spectrophotometer to ensure measurement accuracy.
