Introduction

GB/T 33499—2017 Standard Overview

This standard "Steel frame foamed cement core composite board" (GB/T 33499—2017) is an important specification in the field of building materials in China. It is mainly applicable to steel frame foamed cement core composite boards for non-load-bearing walls and roofs in industrial and civil buildings. The standard specifies the terminology, classification, specifications, technical requirements for raw materials, test methods and inspection rules in detail.

1. Background of standard formulation

With the increasing demand for lightweight, high-strength, thermal insulation materials in the construction industry, steel frame foamed cement core composite boards, as a new type of building envelope board, have gradually become an important part of the construction field. This standard was proposed by the China Building Materials Federation and is managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Building Materials for Walls, Roofs and Roads.

The main drafting units of this standard include China Building Materials Inspection and Certification Group Xi'an Co., Ltd. and Beijing Space Board Industry Co., Ltd., reflecting its authority and practicality in the industry.

2. Comparison of standard frameworks

3. Standard interpretation and implementation suggestions

3.1 Technical requirements analysis

Mechanical properties: The standard specifies the external load value and the allowable deflection value to ensure the load-bearing capacity of the board in different building scenarios. For example, the external load value of the roof board ranges from 0.7 kN/m² to 2.0 kN/m², and the allowable deflection value is ≤L/200.

Thermal insulation performance: The thermal conductivity of the foamed cement core material is required to be 0.073~0.090 W/(m·K), and the volume dry density is controlled at 250~350 kg/m³ to ensure good thermal insulation effect.

Fireproof performance: The combustion performance of the material reaches A1 level, and the fire resistance time is ≥3.0 hours (wall panels), which meets the fire safety requirements of high-rise buildings and public facilities.

3.2 Implementation suggestions

Design stage: In the architectural design, the load level and use scenario of the board should be fully considered to ensure that the selection meets the requirements of the specification. For example, the grid board is suitable for light structures, while the wall panel is more suitable for buildings that require higher fire resistance.

Construction stage: Strictly control the dimensional deviation in accordance with the standard regulations to avoid performance degradation due to improper installation. It is recommended to use standardized construction processes and quality inspection equipment, such as laser rangefinders, temperature and humidity monitoring systems, etc.

Maintenance and care: Regularly check the appearance and connection parts of the panels to ensure that there are no defects such as cracks and holes. For panels exposed to harsh environments, consider coating with a protective layer or adding sealing treatment.
