The wind cup starting wind speed refers to the minimum wind speed required for the wind cup to start continuous rotation from a stationary state. In a laboratory environment, this indicator can be accurately measured through wind tunnel testing. For example, in the GB/T 33691-2017 standard, it is required to increase the wind speed step by step by 0.1 m/s, observe the starting state of the wind cup, and record the corresponding standard wind speed value.
