1. Observation System Architecture
The automatic weather station consists of three parts: sensor, collector, and power supply unit, which must meet the following requirements:
- National station data storage period: instantaneous value 1 hour, minute value 7 days, hour value 1 month
- Time synchronization error ≤30 seconds (Beijing time reference)
- Data transmission supports active/passive dual modes

Typical application scenarios
Observation stations in high-altitude and cold regions should pay special attention to:
- The buried depth of the ground temperature sensor should meet the requirements of the -50℃~+80℃ range
- Use weighing precipitation sensor to avoid missing solid precipitation
- The data file GGYYMMDD.DAT needs to add snow depth quality control mark
Key points of quality control
- Metadata must include instrument calibration records (latest date + validity period)
- Data marking system: five levels: correct/suspicious/error/missing/modified
- Sampling frequency compliance verification (such as visibility 4 times/minute)
