GB/T 33966—2017 Standard Overview

GB/T 33966—2017 "Wear-resistant Seamless Steel Pipe for Mortar Transportation" is a special steel pipe standard formulated by China for the field of mortar transportation, aiming to ensure the wear resistance and reliability of steel pipes when conveying media such as concrete, cement mortar and slurry.

Background of Standard Formulation

With the rapid development of the construction and mining industries, the demand for steel pipes for mortar transportation is increasing. In order to meet the requirements of high performance and long life, the China Iron and Steel Association jointly drafted this standard with a number of companies, filling the domestic technical gap in this field.

Technology Evolution Analysis

This standard combines the internationally advanced wear-resistant steel pipe manufacturing technology, introduces alloy element control, heat treatment process optimization and non-destructive testing methods, and represents the highest level of steel pipe technology in China in the field of mortar transportation.

Grade designation method

Grade exampleGrade meaning
