Introduction
Interpretation of the standard for boiler furnace maintenance lifting platform
1. Background and significance of the standard
GB/T 34029-2017 "Boiler furnace maintenance lifting platform" is an important standard proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation. It is mainly applicable to non-permanent equipment with a suspension device mounted on the top of the boiler and driven by power to move up and down along the vertical surface of the boiler inner wall. This standard fills the gap in the field of boiler furnace maintenance lifting platform in China and provides a unified technical basis for the design, manufacture, inspection and use of products.
2. Comparative analysis of standard frameworks
| Standard dimensions | GB/T 34029—2017 | Comparative analysis |
|---|---|---|
| Scope and applicability | It clearly stipulates the classification, model, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, etc. of boiler furnace maintenance lifting platforms. | Compared with the old standards, it adds safety requirements for suspension devices and wire ropes. |
| Key technical parameters | Includes rated load (500kg, 800kg, etc.), rated speed (≤10m/min), safety wire ropes and anti-fall safety devices. | Added safety factor requirements for double-acting wire ropes to improve safety. |
| Test methods | Covering static tests, dynamic tests, braking performance tests, etc. | In line with international standards, added test requirements for eccentric loads and free fall lock rope distance. |
3. Interpretation of technical requirements
According to Section 5.2 of the standard, the structural safety factor is selected according to load condition 1 of item 6 in GB/T19155-2017. The safety factor of the wire rope is calculated as follows: $$ n=S_{1}a/W $$ Where $S_{1}$ is the minimum breaking force of a single wire rope, in kN; $a$ is the number of wire ropes; W is the sum of the gravity generated by the rated load, the deadweight of the furnace platform and the deadweight of the wire rope, in kN.
4. Safety devices and performance requirements
Section 5.2.7 of the standard specifies the requirements for a number of safety devices:
- Anti-fall safety devices must be installed. When the working wire rope breaks, the safety wire rope should be automatically locked within the range of 200mm of the furnace platform falling.
- Anti-fall safety devices should be calibrated for no more than 1 year and must be scrapped after 5 years.
- Up and down travel limit devices and overload protection devices must be installed.
5. Implementation Suggestions
To ensure the safety and reliability of the boiler furnace maintenance lifting platform, the following measures are recommended:
- Selection stage: Select the appropriate rated load and drive mode (winch type or climbing type) according to the specific parameters of the boiler.
- Installation and commissioning: Install the suspension device in strict accordance with the standard requirements and ensure the effectiveness of all safety devices.
- Regular inspection: Regularly inspect the wire rope, anti-fall safety device and brake system to ensure that they are in normal working condition.
- Personnel training: Operators must receive professional training and be familiar with the use of the equipment and emergency handling procedures.
6. Summary
GB/T 34029-2017 "Boiler Furnace Maintenance Lifting Platform" standard provides an important basis for the standardized development of this field. By strictly complying with technical requirements and safety regulations, the safety of boiler maintenance operations can be effectively guaranteed and work efficiency can be improved.
