Scope

This standard specifies the content, methods and procedures of internal and external corrosion detection of buried steel oil pipelines, including general data collection, corrosion location prediction, excavation detection, determination of detection cycle, records and reports, and appendices. This standard is applicable to liquid petroleum pipelines with full pipe flow. The internal corrosion and external inspection of the steel oil pipelines installed on the ground can refer to this standard.
