Technical requirements and method principles

This standard specifies the method for determining the content of triclocarban using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and its core steps include sample preparation, solution filtration and chromatographic analysis. The following are the key points:

  • Sample preparation: Weigh 0.5~1.0g of sample, extract with methanol ultrasonically and then make up the volume.
  • Chromatographic conditions: C₁₈ reverse phase column, mobile phase is 70% methanol + 30% water, flow rate is 1.0mL/min, detection wavelength is 264nm.
