Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

GB/T 35157-2017 specifies the technical requirements for synthetic panels with resin as adhesive and stone as aggregate, mainly including three product types:

TypeAggregate characteristicsTypical applicationsKey indicators
Granite panelsCarbonate mineralsIndoor decorationWater absorption ≤0.20%
Quartz Stone SlabsSilicate MineralsCountertops/FloorsCompression Strength ≥150MPa
Large Aggregate SlabsParticles>18mmArt DecorationCustomization Requirements

Key Technical Requirements

Physical Property Differences

Case Comparison: When a project uses coarse aggregate granite slabs (CG) and fine aggregate quartz slabs (XS) at the same time:

  • Granite slabs have a Shore hardness of ≥40, suitable for wall decoration
  • Quartz slabs have a wear resistance of ≤32mm, more suitable for high-frequency use floors

Durability test

The standard requires that after passing the 200-hour xenon lamp aging test:

  • Color difference ΔE≤2.0 CIE unit
  • Bending strength change rate≤15%

Acceptance points

  1. Check the flatness of smooth plate: tolerance 0.50mm when length ≤600mm
  2. Verify that the radionuclide limit should meet Class A standards
  3. Visual inspection of color difference should be carried out under standard light source

Technology evolution analysis

Main progress compared with the old version of the standard:

  • Added dimensional stability grading requirements (three levels of A/B/C)
  • Refine the wet test method for anti-slip performance (Appendix C)
  • Introduction of chemical corrosion performance classification system (C1-C4)
