Introduction
National Standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T 35219—2017
Methods for Survey and Assessment of Meteorological Detection Environment at Ground Meteorological Observation Stations
Standard Overview
This standard was proposed by the China Meteorological Administration and is mainly aimed at systematic survey and assessment of the meteorological detection environment of national benchmark climate stations, basic meteorological stations and general meteorological stations. The formulation of the standard fills the gap in the field of domestic meteorological detection environment protection and provides an important basis for the scientific planning of the layout and dynamic management of the meteorological observation network.
Core content
1. Survey content
| Survey category | Main content |
|---|---|
| Basic information of meteorological stations | Name, category, geographical location, observation tasks, etc. |
| Terrain characteristics | Terrain types such as plains and plateaus, and soil properties |
| Obstacle control area | Height and distance of buildings and plants and their impact analysis |
| Surrounding influence sources | The impact of urbanization, industrial areas, etc. on the observation environment |
2. Evaluation indicators
The standard adopts 14 quantitative scoring items with a total score of 100 points. Key scoring items include:
- D3 Cumulative value of obstacle occlusion viewing angle factor that does not meet the requirements (weight 35%)
- D4 Analysis of obstacle occlusion orientation (weight 20%)
3. Implementation recommendations
To ensure the effective implementation of the standard, it is recommended that:
- Strengthen the publicity and training of meteorological detection environmental protection.
- Establish a regular dynamic monitoring mechanism to promptly detect and deal with environmental changes.
- Develop targeted protection measures, such as obstacle restrictions, green belt planning, etc.
