The core equipment Saybolt colorimeter adopts a double-layer borosilicate glass tube structure and is equipped with a 0.5 mm inner diameter calibration light bar. Mandatory calibration standards for instruments include:

  • The color temperature of the light source matches the CIE standard illuminant A (2750K±100K)
  • The liquid column error of the 30inc/50.8cm scale does not exceed ±0.5%
  • The light transmittance deviation is controlled at Δx≤0.003 in accordance with ASTM E308

The heating control parameter setting must meet the following requirements: Tact=(melting point+8)~(melting point+17℃), furnace temperature uniformity±1.5℃, and dissolution time≤60min to avoid color distortion caused by changes in the wax crystal structure.

  1. Electronic temperature control technology replaces traditional oil bath heating, and the liquefaction temperature fluctuation is reduced from ±5℃ to ±1℃

  3. Toxicology test requirements expanded (aniline point detection added to 3 sets of parallel samples)
