GB/T3615-2016 "Aluminum foil for electrolytic capacitors" standard is a major upgrade on the original basis, mainly for medium and high voltage anode foil, low voltage anode foil and cathode foil technical requirements and testing methods have been fully optimized. The revision of this standard fully considers the industry development needs and technological progress, aiming to improve product quality and performance stability.

By comparing GB/T3615-2016 with the old standard, it was found that its cubic texture content increased to 95%, which significantly improved the durability of the capacitor.
