Introduction
Interpretation of standards for fluoroplastic films for crystalline silicon solar cell modules
1. Overview and classification of standards
Fluoroplastic film (referred to as "fluorine film") is an important insulating material for crystalline silicon solar cell modules, mainly used as the surface protection layer of the backplane, providing corrosion resistance and resistance to environmental erosion. According to the different raw materials and production processes, fluorofilms are mainly divided into the following categories:
- Polyvinyl fluoride (PVF) film
- Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) film
- Ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer (ETFE) film
- Ethylene-chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer (ECTFE) film
2. Interpretation of technical requirements
According to GB/T 36289.2-2018 standard, the technical requirements of fluorofilms include key performance indicators such as appearance, thickness deviation, heat shrinkage, and water vapor permeability. The following is a performance comparison table of various fluorine membranes:
| Serial number | Performance | Unit | Requirements | |||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| PVF | PVDF | ETFE | ECTFE | |||
| 1 | Nominal thickness and allowable deviation | ±10% | ||||
| Heat shrinkage rate (150℃, 30min) | % | ≤5.0 | ≤2.5 ≤1.5 | ≤2.5 ≤1.5 | ||
Note: The data in the table are all key performance indicators. For specific requirements, please refer to the standard document.
3. Performance Comparison and Practical Application
The application of fluorine film in solar cell modules needs to meet strict environmental adaptability and insulation performance. The following are typical application scenarios of various types of fluorine films:
- PVF film is suitable for general environmental conditions and has good weather resistance.
- PVDF film is often used in high humidity environments and has excellent salt spray resistance.
- ETFE film is suitable for high temperature and strong ultraviolet radiation environment, with excellent wear resistance and light transmittance.
4. Test method analysis
The test methods specified in the standard include:
Tensile strength and elongation at break test
According to GB/T13542.2-2009, the sample size is 200mm×15mm, and the tensile speed is 100mm/min.
Flame retardancy test
PVF type fluorine film is in accordance with Chapter 7 of GB/T 22472-2008, and the sample size is (125±5)mm×(13.0±0.5)mm.
Abrasion resistance test
According to GB/T 23988, the sand particles are selected from 0.25mm~0.65mm, and the average particle size is 0.58mm.
