Introduction

GB/T 36765—2018 Standard Overview

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and safety requirements for 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (aerosol can type) for automotive air conditioning. It is applicable to aerosol can packaged refrigerants produced by filling process using 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane as raw material.

Comparison of standard frameworks

Chapter Content Overview Key Requirements
1. Scope Scope of application and scope of non-application Applicable to aerosol can packaging, not exceeding 1L capacity
4. Technical requirements Appearance, airtightness, net content and quality indicators - Clear and intact appearance
- Pass airtightness test
- Net content meets measurement requirements
- Quality indicators such as purity ≥99.90%
6. Inspection rules Factory inspection and type inspection - Factory inspection: appearance, air tightness
- Type inspection: all technical requirements, at least once a month

Professional terms and practical applications

1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (HFC-134a): As an environmentally friendly refrigerant, it is widely used in automotive air-conditioning systems. Its molecular formula is C₂H₂F₄, and its relative molecular mass is 102.03.

Air tightness test: Leakage is determined by immersing the aerosol can in a 50±5℃ water bath to observe whether bubbles are generated. No bubbles are acceptable.

Implementation suggestions

Storage and transportation: The product should be stored in a cool and ventilated place, avoiding high temperature and direct sunlight. It should be handled with care during transportation, and no impact or squeezing is allowed.

Operation specifications: The filling personnel must undergo professional training and hold a certificate before taking up their posts, and wear protective glasses and gloves during operation. The original refrigerant in the system should be completely recovered before filling, and the remaining materials should be disposed of after completion.
