Characteristic evaluation mechanism
The standard innovatively adopts a two-layer indicator structure:
- Basic items (78 items): mandatory indicators such as the hardening rate of village main roads and the harmless treatment rate of domestic waste
- Strengthening items (22 items): guiding indicators such as ecological sewage treatment facilities and rural characteristic culture
Typical case: Anji County, Zhejiang Province
Accurate evaluation is achieved through quantitative indicators: the forest and grass coverage rate (mountainous areas) reached 92%, the domestic sewage treatment rate was 85%, and a market-oriented management and maintenance mechanism was established. The comprehensive evaluation score exceeded 95 points for three consecutive years.

Suggestions for the implementation of the standard
- Data collection: It is recommended to use remote sensing monitoring + Internet of Things sensors to obtain real-time data on the ecological environment
- Evaluation process: Strictly follow the "three meetings and one check" procedure stipulated in Article 6.4 (work arrangement meeting, on-site evaluation meeting, result briefing meeting + supporting material verification)
- Innovative application: You can apply for special bonus points in combination with the 101 innovative practice indicators in Appendix B

Compared with GB/T 32000-2015 "Guidelines for the Construction of Beautiful Villages", the main breakthroughs of this standard are:
- Added villager satisfaction as a core evaluation dimension (weight ≥10%)
