Key Technical Features
The standard innovatively adopts the 30° bevel tooth design, and achieves anti-loosening by generating a normal force component through the contact between the thread crest and the bevel under the action of preload:
- A 30° bevel is set at the bottom of the internal thread (standard Figure 1)
- The external thread is compatible with both ordinary thread (M) and MJ thread
- The precision tolerance zone 4H/4h can achieve μm-level matching accuracy
Implementation and application suggestions
Typical application case
A high-speed railway bogie adopts the RLM24×3-6H thread pair, which has a 300% improvement in anti-loosening performance compared with ordinary threads in a vibration environment. Key parameters:
- Tolerance of major diameter of bevel: 24.278~24.448mm
- Calculation of median diameter: D₂=2D-D₅-0.866P
- Recommended preload ≥85% of bolt yield strength
