《GB/T 3783-2008船用低压电器基本要求》由604-2（中国电器工业协会）归口，主管部门为中国电器工业协会。
本标准代替GB/T 3783-1994《船用低压电器基本要求》。
本标准规定了船用低压电器的基本要求，包括术语和定义、符号和代号、特性、正常的使用、安装和运输条件、结构和性能要求、试验等要求。
本标准适用于电压为交流1 000V或直流1 500V及以下的船舶和移动式、固定式近海装置用控制电器和配电电器。
本标准与GB/T 3783-1994相比，主要变化如下：
―――术语中增加了危险场所、非危险场所、区域、0区、1区、2区；
―――删除了电器耐撞击要求；
―――增加了船用隔离电器附加要求的内容；
―――新增了导线管拔出、扭转和弯曲要求；
―――删除了保护接地端子中有关接地螺钉最小尺寸的要求；
―――接线端子结构要求增加了GB 14048.1-2006中附录Ｐ“接线端子连接片的全部尺寸示例”；
―――按IEC 60533:1999《船舶电气与电子设备的电磁兼容性》要求补充完善了电子线路电器电磁兼容要求，新增了验收等级要求；
―――额定冲击耐受电压优先值按IEC 60947-1:2004出版物规定对有些数值作了修正，并按不同海拔高度、不同安装类别给出了相应的额定冲击耐受电压优先值。

Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for marine low-voltage electrical appliances (hereinafter referred to as electrical appliances), including terms and definitions, symbols and codes, characteristics, normal use, installation and transportation conditions, structure and performance requirements, and testing requirements. This standard applies to control appliances and power distribution appliances (hereinafter referred to as appliances) for ships, mobile and fixed offshore installations with a voltage of AC 1000 V or DC 1500 V and below.
