Interpretation of the National Standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T 38388—2019

This standard specifies the test pieces, test items and methods, test sequence and result expression and test report for the test methods of building photovoltaic curtain walls and photovoltaic skylights. It is applicable to laboratory testing of building curtain walls and skylights with photovoltaic power generation functions.

Background of Standard Formulation

With the transformation of the global energy structure and the rise of the concept of green buildings, photovoltaic technology is increasingly used in buildings. In order to standardize the test methods of photovoltaic curtain walls and skylights and ensure their safety and functionality, GB/T 38388—2019 came into being.
