Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
| Technology type | Treatment temperature/method | Key performance indicators | Applicable scenarios |
|---|---|---|---|
| Heat-treated wood | 160-250℃ (high temperature) 120-160℃ (medium temperature) | Moisture content 5-10% Shrinkage rate ≤3% | Indoor and outdoor furniture |
| Impregnated modified wood | Pressure impregnation process | Penetration rate ≥ 85% Formaldehyde ≤ 0.124mg/m³ | High humidity environment |
| Flame retardant wood | Chemical flame retardant treatment | Combustion performance level 2 GB20286 standard | Public places |
Details of key technical requirements
Material defect control
The standard divides modified wood into three grades, among which first-class products require: live knot size ≤ 20% of the board width, ≤ 5 knots within 1m, no decay and wormholes allowed, and crack length ≤ 10% of the wood length.
Physical and chemical performance indicators
- Dimensional stability: width shrinkage rate ≤3% (indoor use), volume swelling rate ≤8%
- Durability: outdoor materials must meet GB/T13942.1 corrosion resistance level II
- Environmental protection requirements: formaldehyde emission must be ≤0.124mg/m³ (1m³ climate chamber method)
Standard implementation recommendations
Selection guide
For bathroom furniture, it is recommended to choose resin modified wood (penetration rate ≥90%); for children's furniture, it is preferred to use acetylated wood (lowest formaldehyde emission).
Key points of quality control
- The carbonization uniformity of heat-treated wood needs to be monitored (color difference ≤ ΔE3)
- Impregnation treatment should be subject to profile permeability test
- Each batch of flame-retardant wood needs to be tested for combustion performance
Technology evolution analysis
This standard classifies medium-temperature heat-treated wood (120-160℃) separately for the first time, and adds 4 new modification methods compared to the 2009 version, reflecting the three major trends in industry technology development: low-temperature modification, environmentally friendly agents and composite treatment technology.
