Static airtightness At room temperature and low temperature, the air pressure shall not be less than 90% of the initial value. Perform durability test according to GB/T4502.
Durability Pulling out or not pulling out the nail after puncture must comply with the requirements of GB9743. Visually check that there is no abnormality in the self-sealing layer.
High-speed performance The tires that have the nails pulled out after being punctured must meet the requirements of GB9743. Visually check that there is no abnormality in the self-sealing layer.

Background of standard formulation and technological evolution

Coated puncture self-sealing tires improve their sealing performance after being punctured by foreign objects by coating the inner surface of the crown with self-sealing materials. Compared with ordinary tires, this type of tire has better puncture resistance and air leakage prevention characteristics.

Implementation recommendations

  1. Ensure that the tire pressure value recommended by the manufacturer is followed when assembling the tire.
  2. Regularly check the tire surface to detect and deal with punctures in a timely manner.
  3. It is recommended to install a tire pressure monitoring system to improve safety.
