Interpretation of the core content of the standard

Scope of application

This standard applies to three types of products: spark ignition devices, hot surface ignition devices and arc ignition devices, covering the safety control requirements for urban gas combustion appliances.

Material and structural specifications

  • Heat-resistant materials: Combustion chamber components must have a softening temperature of ≥800℃
  • Electrode materials: Should comply with GB/T1234 high resistance electric heating alloy standard
  • Insulator: A-95 alumina porcelain or equivalent material

Test method summary

  1. Arc discharge test: Check for abnormal discharge phenomena
  2. High voltage short circuit test: 1800 cycles verification
  3. Hot surface ignition device temperature rise test: 980℃ minimum temperature requirement

Precautions for manufacturers

1. Pay special attention to the pulse ignition parameters specified in Appendix B, including technical indicators such as discharge energy ≥1mJ
2. The AC power supply device must pass the electrical strength test in Appendix C
3. The packaging label should include key parameters such as PTI value
