1 Scope

This part of GB/T 3903 specifies the test methods of peeling strength between sole and upper or between outsole and outer midsole of whole shoes.
This part is applicable to footwear made through mould pressing, vulcanizing, injection molding, perfusing and gluing.
This part is not applicable to sewed footwear.

2 Terms and Definitions

For the purpose of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
2.1 Peeling strength of whole shoes
The force value per unit width, which is obtained through peeling the sole and upper or outsole and outer midsole to specified width with peeling tester.
2.2 Off-bonding
The phenomenon that the analytes start to bond off along the knife edge.
