Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

This standard uses an environmental test chamber to simulate the actual use environment. By controlling parameters such as temperature (60±2)℃ and humidity (5±2)%, the release of harmful substances such as formaldehyde and TVOC in the synthetic material surface layer is determined. The main technical points include:

Key technological innovations

Compared with traditional detection methods, this standard innovatively proposes:

  1. Dynamic sampling system: The series adsorption tube design (Figure 2) is adopted to effectively avoid penetration during the sampling process
  2. Dual cleaning solution: Chemical cleaning (alkaline cleaning agent) or 180℃ high temperature cleaning can be used (Clause 7.2.2)
  3. Compound judgment standard: The data is valid when the adsorption rate of the main adsorption tube is ≥95%, and 80-95% needs to be combined for calculation (Clause 8.1)

Implementation difficulties and countermeasures

Case: When testing a prefabricated runway material, the TVOC background concentration exceeded the standard and was resolved through the following steps:

  • Extended the high-temperature cleaning time to 6 hours
  • Replaced the cabin sealing material with PTFE
  • Added a pre-activated carbon filter

The final background concentration dropped from 68μg/m³ to 42μg/m³, meeting the standard requirements.


Application value of the standard

The implementation of this standard effectively solves the following problems:

  • Comparability of release amounts between cast-in-place and precast surface layers (definitions in 3.1-3.3)
  • Evaluation of the release law of materials under accelerated aging under high temperature environment
  • Provide testing method support for product standards such as GB36246-2018

According to the requirements of Chapter 11, the report must include:

  1. Status information such as sample thickness and curing time
  2. Calibration certificate number of the environmental test chamber
  3. Specific detection limits of each target object
  4. Explanation of the ratio of sampling flow rate to air flow rate in the chamber
