This standard establishes for the first time a complete technical system for CdZnTe targets in the field of thin-film photovoltaics:

  • Composition control: Clarify the CdZnTe ternary ratio and 0.5% deviation limit
  • Morphology specification: Define two standard specifications: flat plate (201×108×20mm) and cylindrical (150×163×135mm)
  • Process innovation: Require vacuum packaging and transportation to avoid oxidation of the tellurium element
