Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

This standard establishes a detection method for the migration of 15 N-nitrosamines and their precursors by gas chromatography-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry for elastomeric materials (such as latex, rubber, PVC, etc.) that can be contacted orally in consumer products. The quantitative limit of the method reaches 0.025-0.125μg/kg, which meets the international consumer product safety testing requirements.


Technical innovation

Artificial saliva simulation migration system: The migration experiment is carried out at 40℃ using simulated saliva with a pH of 9.0 (containing NaHCO₃, NaCl and other components) to truly simulate the oral contact environment. Through experimental verification, the system uses a 240-minute migration time for long-term contact products such as baby pacifiers and a 60-minute migration time for short-term contact products such as balloons.

  • The solid phase extraction process has been optimized, and the recovery rate has been increased by 15%
  • Expanded detection of substances to 15 nitrosamine compounds
