Scope
This standard specifies the definition of red artificial corundum, names of various parts, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and transportation. This standard is applicable to the red artificial corundum pear crystals grown by the flame fusion method for the manufacture of precious stone components such as clocks and instruments and handicraft decorations.
