Introduction

Interpretation of the core content of the standard

Evaluation dimensions Three-phase asynchronous motor Small power motor
Energy efficiency requirements Low voltage: IE3 and above
High voltage: Level 2 and above
≥120W: IE3
<120W: Level 2 energy efficiency
Material usage The unit usage of stator copper/silicon steel/rotor aluminum (copper) needs to be calculated Detection requirements for restricted substances in plastic parts
Renewable utilization rate Calculated according to GB/T32355.5 ≥70%

Key technical requirements

Life cycle assessment shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T24040-2008, GB/T24044 and GB/T40100, with key assessments on:

  • Resource consumption index at the raw material acquisition stage
  • Unit product comprehensive energy consumption in the production process (refer to JB/T12731)
  • Material recyclability at the scrap stage

Restricted substance control

Special provisions for small power motors:

  • Six restricted substances (lead, mercury, etc.) must comply with the limits of GB/T26572
  • Short-chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) in plastic parts ≤0.15%
  • The content of a single phthalate ester ≤0.1%

Implementation suggestions

  1. In the design phase, recyclable packaging materials that comply with GB/T18455 should be given priority
  2. In the production phase, a material usage record should be established (refer to the calculation formula in Appendix A)
  3. Testing and verification The noise test must meet both no-load and load requirements (GB/T10069 series)
