《GB/T 40920-2021皮革 色牢度试验 往复式摩擦色牢度》由TC252(全国皮革工业标准化技术委员会)归口,主管部门为中国轻工业联合会。
Introduction
Interpretation of the core content of the standard
This standard specifies the method for evaluating the friction resistance of leather surfaces using the friction color fastness tester. The main technical features include:
| Technical elements | GB/T40920 requirements | ISO11640 differences |
|---|---|---|
| Test pressure | 1000±35g (conventional leather) | New requirement of 500±25g for suede |
| Friction rate | 40±2 times/minute | Movement distance 35-40mm remains consistent |
| Felt specifications | 15×15mm, pH4.5-8.0 | Delete commercial source notes |
Key technical points
1. Sample preparation specifications
The sample size should be ≥100×20mm. The wet sample is prepared by the vacuum impregnation method (5kPa vacuum degree). Boiling of black felt is prohibited to avoid fading.
2. Test process control
Note:
- The specimen needs to be pre-stretched by 10% (special circumstances need to be recorded)
- After wet testing, it needs to be dried at room temperature before rating
- Coated leather needs to be treated with non-pigmented shoe polish
Differences from international standards
Main technical adjustments include:
- Structural adjustment: ISO's "6 test specimens" is expanded to "6 sampling and specimen preparation"
- Informative Appendix A and some explanatory content have been deleted
- Three levels of item refinement have been added to the wet felt treatment method
Implementation suggestions
Special attention should be paid during laboratory operations:
- Select corresponding test pressures for different leather types
- Felt processing strictly distinguishes between dry and wet methods
- Rating uses D65 standard light source
- Disputed situations require sampling and testing of multiple parts
