Interpretation of the core content of the standard

Key technical requirements

The standard clearly stipulates that low-temperature medical cold storage must adopt a double door lock design and a backup refrigeration system to ensure that the sample activity can be maintained in an extreme environment of -186℃. The enclosure structure must meet the following requirements:

• Thermal conductivity of the sandwich panel ≤0.022W/(m·K)
• The thickness of the stainless steel liner ≥0.8mm
• The seam misalignment ≤2mm

Temperature monitoring system

The standard innovatively requires the configuration of an 11-point temperature monitoring network (as shown in the layout of Figure 1), with a measurement accuracy of ±0.5℃. The alarm system needs to achieve:

Implementation recommendations

1. Site selection requirements: Ambient temperature 16-28℃, humidity 30-80%, avoid electromagnetic interference sources
2. Acceptance test: Should include 72 hours of continuous operation test + 3 simulated power-off tests
3. Daily maintenance: Check the elasticity of the door seal strip every month, and calibrate the temperature sensor every quarter
