Introduction

Standard Background and Significance

With the popularization of 3D CAD technology and MBD (Model-Based Definition) technology, traditional 2D process design standards can no longer meet the needs of modern manufacturing. As the first part of the GB/T41158 series, this standard systematically constructs the terminology system of 3D process design of mechanical products for the first time, laying a conceptual foundation for the formulation of the subsequent 6 sub-standards.
