Analysis of the core content of the standard

GB/T41295.2-2022, as the core part of the functional safety series of standards, systematically regulates the design and implementation requirements of electrical/electronic/programmable electronic safety-related systems (E/E/PE). The standard is applicable to the research and development and manufacturing of equipment such as safety sensors and safety logic controllers, providing technical support for functional safety in intelligent manufacturing scenarios.

Key points for implementing key technologies

1. Hardware safety design

Chapter 9 of the standard explicitly requires that hardware safety be ensured through the dual dimensions of random hardware failure estimation (PFD/PFH) and architecture constraints (SFF+HFT). The typical implementation process includes:

  1. FMEDA-based component failure mode classification (λSD, λSU, etc.)
  2. Calculation of diagnostic coverage (DC) using the method in Appendix B of GB/T20438.6
  3. Derating design (electrical characteristics ≤ 67%, temperature derating ≥ 10°C)

2. Software safety design

For different levels of SIL1-SIL4, Chapter 10 of the standard specifies differentiated software requirements:

  • SIL1-2: Basic coding specifications + module-level verification
  • SIL3-4: Formal methods + software FMEA analysis
  • Component reuse must comply with the three route requirements of IEC61508-3-1

Industry implementation recommendations

For the process industry, standard 7.2.6 recommends the typical SIL allocation ratio:

Sensors (40%) + Logic Controllers (10%) + Actuators (40%) + Others (10%)

Special attention should be paid during implementation:

  1. Safety communications must comply with the black channel requirements of GB/T34040
  2. PFMEA analysis (SIL3/4) is required during the manufacturing phase
  3. Third-party assessments should include fault insertion test verification
