《GB/T 41869.1-2022光学和光子学 微透镜阵列 第1部分:术语》由TC103(全国光学和光子学标准化技术委员会)归口,TC103SC6(全国光学和光子学标准化技术委员会电子光学系统分会)执行,主管部门为中国机械工业联合会。

Introduction
Microlens array is an important optical element in array optical devices. In the form of a single lens, two or more lens arrays, microlens arrays are widely used in three-dimensional display, coupling optics related to array optical radiation sources and photodetectors, enhanced liquid crystal display and optical parallel processor elements. With the continuous progress of science and technology, it is necessary to formulate a set of national standards whose technical content is in line with international standards, which will not only promote the orderly development of China's microlens array industry, but also better promote trade, exchange and technical cooperation in related fields. GB/T 41869K Optics and Photonics Microlens Array was drafted and formulated under this background. The microlens array standard is intended to be composed of the following parts:
——Part 1: Terminology. The purpose is to promote the application of microlens array products by defining the basic terms of microlens and its array, and help scientific research and industry practitioners exchange concepts on the basis of common understanding.
——Part 2: Test method of wavefront aberration. The aim is to define the basic performance characteristics of microlens by standardizing the test method of wavefront aberration.
——Part 3; Optical characteristic test method. The purpose is to provide the basis for the supplier's product delivery by determining the test method of important optical characteristics.
——Part 4: Geometric characteristics test methods. The purpose is to provide the basis for the supplier's product delivery by determining the test method of important geometric characteristics.

1 Scope
This document defines the terms and definitions of microlens arrays.
This document is applicable to microlens arrays and their systems inside or on the surface of the same substrate.
2 Normative References
There are no normative references in this document.
3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Basic definition of microlens and microlens array
3.1.1
Microlens
Lens with aperture smaller than millimeter scale formed by surface refraction, substrate body refraction, diffraction or these combined effects.
Note 1: The aperture of the microlens can have various shapes, such as circle, hexagon or rectangle. The surface of microlens can be plane, concave, convex or free surface.
Note 2: See Annex A.3.1.2 for characteristics of single lens
Microlens array
A collection of microlenses regularly distributed inside or on the surface of the same substrate.
Note 1: Irregular or structured arrays can sometimes be used for beam shaping, diffusion and homogenization.
Note 2: See Appendix B to Appendix G for the application of microlens array
3.2 General characteristics
3.2.1
Effective front focal length
The distance from the microlens vertex to the focus (the position with the highest optical power density) when the parallel light is emitted from the back of the substrate.
Note 1: In the case of lens aberration, the effective front focal length can be different from the paraxial front focal length.
Note 2: The effective front focal length is different from the traditional effective focal length, because it is measured from the lens vertex.
3.3 Terminology related to microlens array characteristics
3.3.1 Geometric characteristics
3.3.1.1
Strucure of the microlens array
The characteristics of the substrate and the geometric arrangement of each microlens.
Note 1: Generally, there are two arrangements: regular and irregular. The regular arrangement includes rectangle, hexagon or polar symmetry, and the lens array position number is x, y; And aperture vertex coordinates are used to define the microlens array structure. The microlens structure with regular arrangement only needs to define the spacing and geometric shape of the arrangement,
Note 2: The basic structure of microlens array is shown in Figure 2, and the structure of double-sided microlens array is shown in Figure 3,
