《GB/T 42908-2023纺织染整助剂产品中有机卤素含量的测定》由TC134(全国染料标准化技术委员会)归口,TC134SC1(全国染料标准化技术委员会印染助剂分会)执行,主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
Introduction
1. Standard Overview
GB/T 42908—2023 "Determination of organic halogen content in textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries" was issued in 2023 and proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. It is mainly applicable to the detection of organic fluorine, chlorine and bromine content in various textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries.
2. Background and significance of standard formulation
With the rapid development of the textile industry, dyeing and finishing auxiliaries are widely used in the production process. Organic halogen compounds are widely used in textile processing due to their excellent performance, but their environmental and health risks are increasingly concerned. The formulation of this standard provides a scientific basis for regulating the content of organic halogens in textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries, filling the gap in industry testing methods.
3. Comparison of standard frameworks
| Dimensions | Old version of the standard | GB/T 42908—2023 |
|---|---|---|
| Scope of application | Only applicable to some textile auxiliaries | Covering all textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries, including organic fluorine, chlorine and bromine |
| Detection method | Single chemical titration method | Ion chromatography combined with high temperature pyrolysis technology |
| Precision requirement | ±10% | ±5%, improved to a more stringent control standard |
4. Detection Principle and Steps
Detection Principle: The sample is dispersed or dissolved in a nitric acid aqueous solution, and the activated carbon adsorbs organic halides. After high-temperature combustion and pyrolysis, the halogen ions are separated and determined by ion chromatography.
4.1 Sampling and Pretreatment
Take at least 0.5 grams of representative samples, homogenize them and weigh 10-50 mg of samples. The samples need to be sealed and stored, and the analysis should be completed within 7 days or stored frozen.
4.2 Activated Carbon Adsorption
Mix the sample with activated carbon, oscillate and adsorb in a nitric acid solution for 12 hours, and then filter. After washing, the activated carbon is placed in a quartz boat.
4.3 High-temperature Combustion Pyrolysis
Configure the oxygen flow rate to be above 160 mL/min, and connect the potassium hydroxide solution absorption tube to the outlet of the pyrolysis tube. Push the quartz boat containing activated carbon into the high temperature zone (950℃) for full combustion and cracking for at least 3 minutes.
4.4 Ion chromatography analysis
According to the set chromatographic conditions, use a hydroxide selective column or a carbonate selective column for separation. The halide ion concentration is quantitatively detected by the external standard method.
5. Implementation recommendations
To ensure the effective implementation of the standard:
- The laboratory should be equipped with instruments and equipment that meet the requirements, such as ion chromatographs and high-temperature combustion devices.
- Operators must undergo professional training and strictly follow the safety precautions in the standard.
- It is recommended to calibrate the instrument regularly to ensure the accuracy of the test results.
