Specifications for Forensic Science DNA Laboratory Testing

1. Scope and applicability of the standard

This standard specifies the basic requirements for DNA laboratory testing in the field of forensic science and is applicable to laboratories engaged in forensic evidence testing.

3. General laboratory requirements

Laboratory personnel, environment, methods, equipment and reagents should meet the requirements of GB/T 43633.

  • Safety protection:Effective measures should be taken to protect personnel during the inspection process, and hazardous waste management should be done well.
  • Water quality requirements:The water used should be first-class water in accordance with GB/T 6682.

4. Inspection process and technical points

Inspection steps Key technology Precautions
Preliminary test Tetramethylbenzidine test, luminol test, etc. Ensure that the nature of the sample is confirmed correctly.
DNA extraction Organic solvent method, magnetic bead method, CTAB method and other methods. Avoid contamination and strictly control the purity of reagents.
Quantitative analysis Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR method is the mainstream technology. Ensure the accuracy and repeatability of the standard curve.
