Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

This standard applies to the design and manufacture of high-voltage shore power boxes (cabinets), with a system nominal voltage range of 1-15kV, a rated current of ≤4000A, and a frequency of 50/60Hz. It mainly regulates key technical requirements such as equipment classification, safety protection, and electromagnetic compatibility.

Comparison of key technical requirements

Technical indicators Fixed type Removable type
Protection grade IP42(indoor)/IP56(outdoor) Same requirements
Electrical clearance According to 7.2kV system≥90mm
Five-protection interlocking Mechanical interlocking as the main one Electromechanical double interlocking

Typical application cases

The cruise ship shore power system adopts HSPB-12/1250/31.5-60-C equipment to meet the 11kV/60Hz power supply requirements, and is equipped with 25kA short-circuit withstand capability and differential protection. Efficient power supply is achieved through the combined installation in Appendix A.3.

Standard evolution background

With the update of the IEC/IEEE 80005-1 international standard, this standard adds electromagnetic compatibility test (Table 9) and internal arc protection (5.3.2.5) requirements, which strengthens the compatibility with ship-shore systems.

Implementation suggestions

  1. Refer to Table 2 to match the rated parameters according to the ship type when selecting
  2. The installation method should be selected in combination with the cable management system location (Appendix A)
  3. Perform 6.12 withstand voltage test and 6.22 electromagnetic compatibility test regularly
