Analysis of key performance indicators
Temperature curvature (F): The new version of the standard takes temperature curvature as the core assessment indicator, and its calculation formula is:
F = δ·(1/R2-1/R1)/(T2-T1)
The temperature curvature of typical grade 5J3810 reaches 37.8×10-6/℃, which is suitable for the temperature range of -20~200℃.
Implementation suggestions
- When selecting, pay attention to the matching of temperature curvature and resistivity.
- For strips with thickness > 0.5mm, it is recommended to use Level II bonding strength test.
- The newly added 5J3840 grade is suitable for high resistivity scenarios (41.6μΩ·cm)
Typical application cases
5J2075 performs well in circuit breaker thermal elements. Its corrosion resistance (Ni20Co26Cr8 component) and 166000MPa elastic modulus can meet harsh working conditions.
