Methylene blue spectrophotometry:Based on the formation of fluoroborate complex ions by boron and hydrofluoric acid, the boron content is determined by the color reaction of methylene blue. Applicable to medium and high boron content range.

Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES):Uses a high-temperature ionization source to atomize the sample and detect the intensity of the characteristic spectral lines of the boron element, which is suitable for accurate determination of low boron content.
