Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

Important updates: This standard replaces GB/T 4734-1996, adds 6 new detection technologies such as X-ray fluorescence spectrometry, and expands the determination range of elements such as Li₂O and ZnO.

Comparison of detection method systems

Detection items Classic method Instrumental analysis method Applicable content range
SiO₂ Hydrofluoric acid volatilization method X-ray fluorescence spectrometry 0.05-98.00%
Al₂O₃ EDTA titration method Atomic absorption spectrometry 0.02-90.00%
Fe₂O₃ O-phenanthroline photometry X-ray fluorescence spectrometry 0.01-16.00%

Key technological innovations

1. Multi-element combined determination technology

The atomic absorption spectrometry is used to realize the simultaneous detection of K, Na, Li, Ca, Mg, Fe and other elements, and the analysis efficiency is improved by 300%:

  • Detection limit: 0.1μg/mL (1% absorption)
  • Wavelength accuracy: ±0.02nm
  • Relative standard deviation ≤2%

Application Case: Determination of B₂O₃ in Ceramic Glazes

When using the mannitol enhanced titration method:

  1. Sample pretreatment needs to strictly control pH=6.5-7.0
  2. Barium carbonate addition amount 4g±0.1g
  3. End point determination repeatability reaches ±0.05%

Quality Assurance Requirements

Critical Control Points:
  • Standard curve verification cycle ≤3 months
  • Temperature fluctuation>10℃ requires recalibration
  • The allowable difference is determined by 0.7 times the stringent standard

The sum of all components in the full analysis should be within the range of 99.50%-100.50%, otherwise additional analysis is required according to Appendix E.
