本标准规定了内燃机排气消声器的试验方法。本标准适用于中、小功率内燃机消声器的试验，进气消声器也可参照使用。

Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for exhaust mufflers of internal combustion engines (hereinafter referred to as mufflers). This standard is applicable to the test of mufflers of medium and small power internal combustion engines, and intake mufflers can also be used as a reference.
